Vivian A. Graves, 81, rural Bovey, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Born December 23, 1944, in Fosston, MN, she was the daughter of Roy and Silena (Goldsmith) Colsen. She grew up in Fosston and was a 1962 graduate of Fosston High School. Vivian and Russell Graves were married on February 18, 1967, in Fosston and had lived in Duluth, Silver Bay, in the Fosston area, and had been residents of rural Bovey for over 50 Years. She was a home maker, attended the Balsam Bible Chapel, and was a member of the White Oak Antique Tractor Club.
Her parents and a brother, Randy Colsen preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Russell; children, Kim Graves, Deb (Eric) Johnson, and Keith Graves; grandchildren, Jared (Kaija) Karjala, Heather (Jason) Seppala, Devin (Lauren) Newton, Amanda Graves, and Johnathan Muller; great grandchildren, Ryker, Dakota, Teddy, Zane, Kenzie, William, Ryan, Henry, Miles, and Asher; Siblings, Bob (Lisa) Colsen, Richard (Chris) Colsen, LeAnn Colsen, Victor (Roberta) Colsen, Gary Colsen, Vickie (Wayne) Johnson, Rocky Colsen, LeRoy Colsen; a sister-in-law, Lynn Colsen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in The Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Coleraine. Arrangements are by the Peterson Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services of Coleraine.
