Vickie Elaine (Hemphill) Broberg

          Vickie E. Broberg, 72, Trout Lake, died Saturday, November 8, 2025, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.

          Born March 14, 1953, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Cosma (Fredlund) Hemphill.  A lifelong resident of Itasca County, she was a 1971 graduate of Greenway High School and had lived in the Lawrence Lake area, Coleraine for 44 years; and for the past five years in Trout Lake.  Vickie and William Broberg were married on September 16, 1972, in Grand Rapids.  She was a home maker and had also worked at Walmart and Arrowhead Promotions.

          Her parents, Lloyd and Cosma Hemphill preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her husband, William; sons, Thomas (Kelly) and Tony (Brenda) Broberg; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and siblings, Shelly (Dave)  Middleton, Randy Hemphill, and Beth (Jeff) Pederson.

          There will be a celebration of Life for Vickie on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Trout Lake Community Center, 24951 Community Center Road, Bovey, MN   55709.
