On Sunday, March 3, 2019, Thomas Charles Kaase, loving husband and father, passed away at age 59.
Tom was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and he graduated from Forest Lake High School. He then earned his Associate of Arts at Itasca Community College where he met his wife of 36 years, Sabrina. They settled on Lower Balsam Lake where they have lived since 1991 and where they raised their son, Carl. Tom loved to fish, garden, and enjoy the wildlife around his home.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sabrina of Balsam, son Carl of Minneapolis, sister Debbie (Deny) Murphy of East Bethel, sister Anita (Jim) Schroeder of Oakdale, sister Cyndi (Dan) Grundmeier of St. Paul, brother Chuck (Laura) Kaase of Breezy Point, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck, mother, Kathleen, and nephew, Justin.
A funeral service will be held at Peterson Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 8, 2019 (422 Roosevelt Ave, Coleraine, MN, 55722). Visitation will be at 10:30am and a service will take place at 11:30am. A luncheon will follow at the Lawrence Lake Legion (33887 Scenic Hwy, Bovey, MN 55709).
