Terry Lee Welch

          Terry Lee Welch, 73, Trout Lake area resident, died Friday, January 4, 2019 in his home.

          Born October 27, 1945 in Holland, MI, he was the son of Walter H. and Dorothy (Kole) Welch.  Terry and Susan K. DeJonge were married on August 20, 1965 in Zeeland, MI.  Terry had resided in Holland, MI, twenty plus years in Nashwauk, in Blackduck, and for the past eleven years in the Trout Lake area.  He had been a carpenter had worked with his son, Todd, in Welch’s Automotive in Blackduck.  Terry was a former member of Nashwauk Lodge 331 A.F. & A.M., and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and taking care of his lawn.

          His father, Walter H. Welch and his son, Todd Welch preceded him in death.

          Survivors include his wife, Susan; daughter, Shelly (Craig) Bundy of Trout Lake; daughter-in-law, Patty Welch of Blackduck; grandchildren, Jennifer Welch, Jeff (Lindsey) Welch, and Derek Bundy; great grandchildren, Simon and Rylee Welch; his mother, Dorothy Englesman; and siblings, Linda (Jay), Ron (Sharon), and Kristi (Tim).

          A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
