Teresa Ann (Murack) Pierce

Teresa A. Pierce, 74, rural Bovey, died Wednesday. May 15, 2024, in Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Duluth.

          Born October 31, 1949, in Cayuga, ND, she was the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Kurkowski) Murack.  Teresa grew up in Sargent County, ND; was a Wahpeton, ND high school graduate, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University.  She had been a resident of Grand Rapids for 30 years and was a Lawrence Township  resident for the past 10 years.  She had worked in the business office of Pine Technical College and was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Coleraine.  Teresa and Donald Pierce were married on June 24, 1972, in Elbow Lake, MN.

          Her parents, Joseph and Florence Murack and siblings, Angela, Clarence, and Constance preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her husband, Donald; children, Brice, Craig (Rachel), and Scott (Kristin) Pierce; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Irene, Donald, Richard, Ted, Marian, Mavis, David, Diana, and Larry.

          Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Coleraine.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
