Obituary
Sandra Charlene Dowling passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 peacefully in her home.
She was born on March 30, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Alice Risberg.
She worked different jobs in Minneapolis, then moved up to Sand Lake with her mother to live. She worked many years at Deer River Folio until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Alice, two brothers; John and Edward Risberg, and two nephews; Dennis and Quinn Richardson.
She is survived by her partner in life; LaDonna Flier, a son; Michael (Shannon) Dowling of Sand Lake, two sisters; Mrs. Erv (Tiny) Torkkola of Seattle, WA and Mrs. Jon (Violet) Richardson of Sand Lake, and one brother; Perry (Kathy) Risberg of Sand Lake. Four grandchildren; Michael Jr., Charlie, Johnny and Timothy Dowling of Sand Lake, several nieces and nephews, and a special nephew, John Risberg.
There will be a gathering celebration of her life on July 9, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 PM, at her home: 29945 Natureview Lane, Grand Rapids, MN. 55744.
