Ronald G. Elich 78 of Marble, passed away at home on January 12, 2022.
Ron was born in Grand Rapids, MN on January 2, 1944. He graduated from Greenway High School in 1962. Ron served in the U.S Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Before retirement he worked for Hanna Mining Co. Ron enjoyed gardening, fishing and deer hunting.
Survived by brothers; Bob (Marilyn), Mike (Mary Jane) and Boris (Kathy), and sisters Elaine, Joan (Roger) Reinke and Helen. Also survived by nephews Tim, Scott, Tom and Jeff (Tanya) Elich and Jason Reinke (Kari Johnson), nieces Tami (Kelly McCauley) Elich, Pam (Steve) Korhonen and Val (Mike) Plackner. Great nephews Tyler Schlink, Aaron, Ben and Mason Elich, and Great nieces, Amber Elich, Carlee Plackner and Lexi Korhonen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Sadie Elich, his brothers, Thomas and Peter and a sister, Betty Wendell.
