Richard M. Trboyevich, 76, Bovey, died Monday, February 26, 2018 in Majestic Pines, Grand Rapids.
Born November 24, 1941 in Grand Rapids, he was the son of Alexander and Doris (Dahlen) Trboyevich. He was a Greenway High School Graduate, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the Taconite American Legion Post 301 for over 40 years. He had been a conductor and brakeman for the D.M. & I.R. Railroad. He enjoyed his family, airplanes, hunting, playing guitar, and a good “BS” session anytime. Richard and Deborah Troumbly were married on September 2, 1972.
His parents, Doris and Alexander Trboyevich and a brother, Dan preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah; children, Christopher (Jessa) and Troy (Janelle), both of Maple Grove, MN, Brandon of Grand Rapids, and Nicole of Kirkland, WA; 4 Grandchildren; Marek, Lexi, Kira and Max, aunts, Dorothy Williams and Goldie Trboyevich, both of Sun City, AZ; uncle, Boris Trboyevich of Milwaukee, WI; a cousin, Greg Vitas of Long Lake, MN, and four half-brothers.
Private family services will be held.
