Minerva "Minnie" M. (Luoma) Mahn
Obituary
Minerva “Minnie” M. Mahn, 93, Grand Rapids, died Friday, December 23, 2022, in the Grand Village, Grand Rapids.
Born July 24, 1929, in Blackberry, she was the daughter of Eino and Lillian (Kinninan) Luoma. Minnie grew up in the Blackberry and Trout Lake areas and lived most of her life in Grand Rapids. Minnie and Lawrence Mahn were married on November 1, 1954, in Bovey. Minnie had been a home maker and had also worked for the Janicke Bakery.
Her parents; her husband, Lawrence; a grandson, Keith Mahn; and siblings, Melvin and Marvin Luoma, Muriel Larson, Maxine Daniels and four siblings in infancy preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Ed (Gloria) Mahn and three grandchildren, Amanda, Ed, and Scott Mahn.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until the 1:00 PM funeral service on Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Salem Lutheran Brethren Church, Grand Rapids. Interment will be in the Trout Lake Community Cemetery.
