Michael "Nibs" A. Bellefy

Michael A. “Nibs” Bellefy, 65 of Taconite, MN died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Coleraine, MN.

          He was born on December 16, 1957, in Grand Rapids, MN, the son of Wallace and Nora (Kaisto) Bellefy.  He graduated from Greenway High School, where he played hockey for the Greenway Raiders and the Taconite Hornets.  He worked for Hibbing Taconite for 37 years, loved to golf, listen to music, went to concerts including Moondance Jam, he loved his truck and was very competitive.  He especially loved his daughter and grandkids.

          Survivors include his daughter; Faith Miltich of Grand Rapids, MN, his grandchildren; Chloe Miltich of Minneapolis, MN, Jayden Neubauer of Fargo, ND and Millie Juarez of Grand Rapids, MN.  His mother; Nora Bellefy of Taconite, MN, his brothers; Richard (Jill) Bellefy of Taconite, MN, Scott Bellefy of Coleraine, MN and Chris (Erin) Bellefy of Hermantown, MN and many nieces and 1 nephew and sister-in-law Linda Bellefy.

          He was preceded in death by his father; Wallace Bellefy and a brother; Ronald Bellefy.

          Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Funeral Service on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.
