Margie Marie (Rost) Axelson

          Margie M. Axelson, 75, lifelong Itasca County resident died Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Westbrook, MN.

          Born November 19, 1946, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Ernest and Claryce (Romelfanger) Rost.  Margie was a homemaker and a member of the Bovey Moose Auxiliary.  Margie and Gerald L. Axelson were married on August 4, 1973, in Grand Rapids.

          Her parents; her husband, Jerry; and a brother, Charles Rost preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Rost, Edith (Adam) Sipe, and Dawnyell Christie; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters, Diane (Steve) Wahl and Deb (Matthew) Dethloff.

          Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Monday, March 14, 2022, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.
