Margaret "Marge" Jean (Murphy) Predovich

          Margaret “Marge” J. Predovich, 95, longtime Coleraine resident, died Friday, July 19, 2019 in Diamond Willow Assisted Living, Grand Rapids.

          Born June 12, 1924 in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Eugene and Estelle (Fitzgerald) Murphy.  Marge was a graduate of Grand Rapids High School, was married to George “Judo” Predovich on September 7, 1941 in Chisholm and was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Coleraine.  Marge was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, had been a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, loved to garden and shop, and enjoyed spending time at the cabin with her family.

          Her parents; her husband, Judo; a son Jack; and siblings, Jack and Jim Murphy, Mary Jane Unger, and Virginia Adams preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her children, Bill (Sharon) Predovich of Waconia, MN, Ron Predovich of Marble, and Nancy (Dale) Johnson of Titusville, FL; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Joan) Murphy of Crystal Lake, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

           Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
