Linda Kangas Obituary

          Linda Kay Kangas, 81 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Warba, died on Sunday, December 4, 2022, in the Emeralds Nursing Home in Grand Rapids, MN.

          She was born on August 16, 1941, in Grand Rapids, MN the daughter of George and Wilma (Longmore) Tobeck. She married Marvin Kangas on August 22, 1960. She worked in housekeeping at the Itasca Nursing Home. She loved to read, watch westerns, loved her birds and flowers.

          Survivors include her children; Mike (Karen Tobeck) Kangas of Warba, MN, Rhonda Gould of Coleraine, MN and Kathy (Keith) Sumner of Lawrence Lake, MN, her dear companion; Larry Sennes of Minneapolis, her grandchildren; Mac and Bill Gould, Jake Sumner and Heather (Aaron) Lantz, and 3 great-grandchildren; Jay Gould, Zoey Rasley and Tyson Lantz, sisters; Janice Carter and Karen Howard, both of Richfield, MN.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin, a brother; Bill Tobeck and son-in-law; Jay Gould.

          Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine. Interment will be in the Lakeview Coleraine.
