Linda Lou (Grobove) Grell

Linda L. Grell, 74, rural Bovey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids.

Born October 8, 1948, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Adam and Beatrice (Roots) Grobove, Sr., the youngest of six children.  Linda and Charles W. Grell were married on June 24, 1977, in Marble and they lived many years on the Scenic Highway.  She enjoyed many bonfires in her back yard, and when it was too cold, they worked on countless puzzles.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Her parents, Adam and Beatrice Grobove, Sr.; and siblings,
Richard Grobove and Adam Grobove, Jr., and Elaine LaChapelle preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; children, Catherine (Darrell) Branstner and Kenneth “Butch” Grell; stepsons, Stacey (Terry) Tipton and Aaron (Hope) Tipton; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Janice Dresich and Arlene (Ted) Jarvis;  sisters-in-law, Jean Grobove, Deb Grell, Darlene Mohr, and Phyllis Kaelin; and a brother-in-law, Richard Grell.

At Linda’s request, there will be a private family gathering at a future date.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Coleraine.
