Lavonne D. Sherman

                   Lavonne D. Sherman, 84 of Grand Rapids, MN, formerly of Pengilly, died on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in the Americare Lodge in Grand Rapids, MN.

                   Born on August 24, 1941 in Fergus Falls, MN she was the daughter of Robert and Edna (Stensrude) Cline. She married Allan Sherman on November 4, 1961 in Marble. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Marble, where she was an active member, also teaching Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano and accordian, crocheting, sewing, quilting, and gardening flowers, which she was quite proud of.

                   Survivors include her husband; Allan Sherman of Grand Rapids, her children; Jeffrey (Penny) Sherman of Lino Lakes, MN, Vicky Withers of Altoona, WI and Jody (Doug) Linroth of Oakdale, MN. 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren, her siblings; Dennis Cline of Corcoran, MN and Doyle (Sheila) Cline of Grand Rapids. Sister-in-laws; Lucy and Candy Cline and many nieces and nephews.

                   She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers; Marlin and Melvin Cline, son-in-law; Jim Withers and sister-in-law; Carol Cline.

                   Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service on Friday, December 12, 2025 in the Grace Lutheran Church in Marble. The Pastor Rick Kelm will officiate.
