Kenneth D. Kritta

Kenneth D. Kritta, 68, rural Bovey, died Saturday, February 24, 2024, in his home.

Born June 5, 1955, in Verndale, MN, he was the son of Allen and Bernice (Larson) Kritta.  Ken had been a resident of Itasca County for almost 25 years. He was a Stillwater, MN high school graduate and had worked for 3M, had been a truck driver, worked for Lund Boat Company, and while in Itasca County, he had worked for Itasca County, Lakewood Surgery Center, and Trout Lake Township.  Ken and Sheila Limanen were married on September 13, 1995, in New York Mills, MN. Together, they enjoyed riding their Harley and camping.

His parents, Allen and Bernice Kritta preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila; his son, Josh (Kelly) Rose; siblings, Kathy (Doug Siems) Kritta and Al (Ann) Kritta; and several cousins, extended family and friends.

There will be a private family gathering at a later date.  As Ken would say “till we meet in the valley.”
