Kathleen Rose Marie (Serich) Bouchie

            Kathleen R. Bouchie, 81, longtime Greenway Township resident, died Sunday, April 25, 2022, in the Grand Village, Grand Rapids.

          Born June 28, 1940, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of John and Frances (Rukavina) Serich.  Kathleen was a 1958 graduate of Greenway High School, was a longtime member of the Greenway Basketball Boosters, and a graduate of Itasca Community College.  She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marble, had been a secretary and office manager for various businesses, and was a member of the women’s bowling league.  Kathleen enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking, but most important was spending time with her family.

          Her parents, John and Frances Serich and her daughter, Jennifer preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her children, Todd (Jenny) Bouchie and their daughter Alex, Trisha (Matt) Bush and their sons, Mathias and Ethan, Scott Bouchie and his son Preston, and Jennifer’s son, Kyle Butterfield; and siblings, Bob (Jule) Serich and Ron (Fayette) Serich.

          There will be a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2022, in the Trout Lake Community Center.
