Joyce M. (Rassmussen) Mischke

Joyce M. Mischke, 96, Grand Rapids, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Diamond Willow, Grand Rapids.

     Born April 13, 1927 in Vienna, SD, she was the daughter of Martin L. and Nellie J. (Spilde) Rasmussen.  Joyce was married to Raymond Mischke and had been a nurses aid for Grand Village for many years.   She was a member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church of Bovey and the Grand Rapids VFW Auxiliary.

Her parents, Martin and Nellie Rasmussen; her husband, Raymond; her son, Dean; and nine siblings preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy L. Shields and Sandra L. Lasater; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Nellie McLean; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside services were held in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
