Joseph Jay Camilli, 88, of Taconite, died Sunday, June 9, 2024, in Home & Comfort, Coleraine.
Born December 25, 1935, in Taconite, he was the son of Emil and Myrtle (Morrow) Camilli. A lifelong resident of Taconite, he attended Greenway schools, was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War and had been an oil and propane delivery driver. Joe and Diane Nelson were married on June 18, 1998 at their log cabin.
His parents, Emil and Myrtle Camilli; sons, Patrick, Paul, and Melon; grandchildren, Carlee and Sam; and a sister Nini preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; son, Jay (Danita); daughter-in-law, Lauri; children, Gene (Theresa), Amber (Keith), Dameon (Krissy), and Hope (Kent); grandchildren, Rayna (Josh), Michael (Maria), Jayme (Chris), Jeremy (Erika), Nichole (Josh), Tommy (Molly), Michael (Ashley), Susie (Kyle), Grayson, Kimberly, Brody, Adelina, Stefani, Callie, Brittany, Cashus, Brooke, Jackilyn, Samantha, Joelle, and Jonni; numerous great grandchildren, and a sister, Carol.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
