Jerry L. Kersting

          Jerry L. Kersting, 76, formerly of Nashwauk, died Friday, March 8, 2019 in Chisholm.

          Born January 17, 1943 in Walker, MN, he was the son of Archie and Clara (Barrett) Kersting and was a U. S. Army Veteran.

          His parents, Archie and Clara Kersting; his wife, Elizabeth; a son, Daniel Ross Baumann; and sisters, Elizabeth and Bonnie preceded him in death.

          Survivors include his children, Jeri Thames, Larry Baumann, Denise (Dan) Becker, Lorraine (Martin) Standke, and Mary Ann (Jerome) Griep; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; siblings, Judy Geisen, Nancy (Roger) Kjendle, Maxine (Merlin) Sandberg, Arlene (Gene) Chillman, Joe (Arlayne) Kersting, and Sharon (Ike) Nelson; and several nieces and nephews.

          Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.  Interment will be in the Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset.
