Jean Ann (Perrizo) Castle

          Jean “Beany” Castle 69, born May 8th, 1952, to Gloria and Walton Perrizo. passed away Friday, June 11th at Essentia Health-St Mary’s Medical Center after complications during surgery.

Jean “Beany” was a beloved fiancé, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to those in her life. The last 20+ years she spent her life traveling with her love and companion Bill Sigfrinius, including his family, siblings, children, and grandchildren. They were always on the go, whether it was a cruise, spending winters at their retirement home in Arizona or summers fishing and “camping” at Little Winnie Resort. Beany had a passion for cooking, canning, baking, and entertaining.

Burbie, father Walton Perrizo, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Perrizo, brother-in-law Merle Wallin.

She is survived by her children Brian Castle of Duluth and Jeremy (Irene) Castle of Bovey. Stepchildren, Linda Murphy of Faribault, and Tim (Denise) Castle of Grand Rapids.

Grandchildren Payton and Gavin Castle, Kerisa Chapek, Kara(Dan) Sorensen, Shelby (Zack) Harsha, Cody Castle, Tim Murphy, Jerry Murphy, and Christopher (Mary) Murphy.  She also leaves behind sisters Shari Wallin of Kentucky, Judy (Dale) Matteson of Bovey, Barb Perrizo of Virginia, Kathy (Jake) McIlwain of Bovey and 2 brothers Bob (Janet) Perrizo of the Philippines and Steve (Caroline) Perrizo of Alaska as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Please join us in a celebration of life Thursday June 17, 2021in the Grace Gospel Church in Taconite. Visitation from 1-2:00 PM, with a service following at 2:00 PM.
