Jacqueline E. “Jackie” Stuntebeck – Lokken, 55, Grand Rapids, died Friday, September 28, 2018 in her home with her family at her side while in the care of hospice.
Born December 9, 1962 in Virginia, MN, she was the daughter of John J. and Dorothy V. (Budrow) Stuntebeck. Jackie grew up in Chisholm and Hoyt Lakes, was a 1981 graduate of Chisholm High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica. Jackie had been a job coach for the Grand Rapids O.D.C. and had been a store manager in cellular communications. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Grand Rapids. Jackie had a strong faith and was known for her hugs, laughter, and optimism. Her family and friends were very important to her.
Her parents, John and Dorothy Stuntebeck preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Lokken; her children, Amanda (Stuntebeck) (Joshua) Gustafson and Jacob Stuntebeck – Lokken; grandchildren, Josette and Myles Gustafson; siblings, Mike Stuntebeck, Charles (Mary) Stuntebeck, Theresa (Roger) Teberg, Doug (Debi) Stuntebeck, Conrad (Julie) Stuntebeck, Tom Stuntebeck, Sandy (Todd) Manley, and Debbie Pastore; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, step children, and step grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, October 5, 2018 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine, and will continue from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Grand Rapids.
