Obituary

Jack Odden, 91 of Bovey, Minnesota, died on May 7th in Grand Rapids MN.

Born on April 15, 1929 in St. Paul, MN, he was the son of Clifford and Dorothy Odden Jack was a lifelong resident of Bovey. He married Joan Denzel on October 17, 1959. He served in the Navy during WWII. After his discharge, he worked at the Danube and Hibbing Taconite Mines. After retiring he was employed at the Bovey Merck, Bovey Holiday gas station and the Wastewater Treatment Plant which he retired from in 1994.

Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and working on small engines, and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his father; Clifford,  Mother; Dorothy and Daughter Deborah.

He is survived by his wife, Joan of 60 years, children Kevin (Tiya) Odden, Bovey, Tammy Wahlstrand, Hibbing, Linda (Joe) Simone, Florence, MT, Carol (Dave) Savolainen, Nashwauk MN, Clifford, California, Jackie (Victor) Greco, Grand Junction CO, Donna Hemphill, Florence, MT, grandchildren, Shawn, Fargo ND, Megen (Dustin) Barsness, Duluth, Tyler, Bovey, Nicole, Joey and Jolene Montana, Eric, Nashwauk, Micki, Hibbing, Joshau, Nevada, Camille, Nevada, Kelie, Colorado, Heather and Samantha, Montana and several great-grandchildren.

Sister Beverly Gustason, Grand Rapids and Nieces and Nephews, Eugene Gustason, Ed Gustason, Vickie Jamsa, and Gary Gustason, Terri Stupar, Mike and Mark Stupar.

Beloved Granddogs; Ceasar and Keysha

A Private Family service will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
