Fred "Fritz" John Kuhlmann

Fred J. “Fritz” Kuhlmann, 89, Calumet, formerly of Shakopee, died Friday, December 15, 2023, in Calumet.

Born December 17, 1933, in Ward Springs, MN, he was the son of Theodore and Antionette (Terwey) Kuhlmann.  He grew up and attended rural schools in the Ward Springs area, lived most of his life in Shakopee, MN and had been an Itasca County resident for the past four years.  Fritz had been a truck driver for Super Value for many years.

His parents and sons, Rick, Roger, and Ron Kuhlmann preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Toby, Heidi, and Cadro Kuhlmann and Roxanne Steichen; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.  Interment will be in the Ward Springs Cemetery in the spring.
