Duane E. Mueller

Duane E. Mueller, 82 of rural Bovey, died on July 2, 2025 in his home.

                   Born May 25, 1943 he was the only child born to Ed and Esther Mueller. Duane graduated from the Greenway High School in 1961. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years and then worked for Cleveland Cliffs Mining until he retired. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Bovey, the American Legion and he supported the Dakota Boys Ranch. Duane enjoyed fishing, hunting, feeding his birds and was an avid reader.

                   He is survived by an Aunt; Ardes Kessler of Coleraine, and several cousins and friends.

                   He was preceded in death by his parents.

                   In celebrating Duane’s life, we invite family and friends to a service in the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Bovey on Monday, July 7, 2025. Visitation at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service followed by a meal and fellowship. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, P.O.
