Donna M. Arsenault, 89, Grand Rapids, died Thursday, July 23, 2026 in the Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids.
Born January 15, 1937, in Crow Wing County, MN, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Goedderz) Vivian. She was a 1955 graduate of Crosby – Ironton High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University. Donna lived most of her life in Itasca County and was a teacher in the Greenway school district. Most of her teaching career was in the VanDyke school in Coleraine. She was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church of Coleraine, was active in the teacher’s union, and was a member of the Grand Rapids Eagles Auxiliary. Donna and James J. Arsenault were married on November 26, 1955, in Crosby, MN.
Her parents, Lawrence and Marie Vivian; her husband “Jim;” and a great grandson, Joesef Arsenault preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Robin), Jon (Jeannie) and Tim (Gena) Arsenault; and Michelle (Greg) Perreault; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and her “adopted” family, the Kulp clan.
