Debra Jean Bellefy

Debra Bellefy, 69, lifelong Bovey resident, died Friday, June 3, 2022, in the Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids.

          Born February 15, 1953, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Arthur G. and Esther (Jacobson)  Bellefy.  She was a 1971 graduate of Greenway high school and attended Itasca Community College.  Debra was a para in the VanDyke school in Coleraine, where the children adored her because she was just their height, and she was also an “Avon Lady” for over 25 years.  Debbie was always smiling and was always “fine,” no matter the circumstances.

          Her parents, Art and Esther Bellefy preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her daughter, Jamie Zuehlke; her significant other, William Richardson; three grandchildren, Allyvia, Brielle, and Caiden; and siblings, Mary (Alan) Flinck and Jerry Bellefy.

          Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the 12:00 Noon funeral service on Saturday, June 18, 2022, in the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Bovey.
