David Damyanovich, 83, passed away peacefully in his home on April 1, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1942, in Grand Rapids, MN, and was a lifelong resident of Pengilly, MN.
A proud graduate of Greenway High School, Class of 1960, David dedicated 35 years of hard work to Butler Taconite and National Steel in Keewatin. He loved living on Swan Lake, where he found joy in the beauty of nature, and he was a regular on the greens at Swan Lake Country Club, enjoying rounds of golf with friends and family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elaine and Nick Damyanovich. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Carolyn (Carpenter) Damyanovich; his children, Jeff (Renee), John (Jill), Kris (Ray) Kosey, and Jennifer (Bill) Kero; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gary (Sue) of Anoka, MN, and his sister, Barb (Greg) Stanley of St. Cloud, MN.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
David will be remembered for his dedication to family, his strong work ethic, and his love for the peaceful shores of Swan Lake and the camaraderie of the golf course. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
