Darrell Bruce White

     Darrell B. White, 78, rural Deer River, died Sunday, May 21, 2023, in his home.

     Born February 1, 1945, in Minneapolis, he attended Minneapolis schools, had been a painter in the Ford Motor Company assembly plant in St. Paul, and had lived in the Trout Lake and Deer River areas.  Darrell and Delores Karjala were married on September 20, 1969, in Grand Rapids.  Darrell had been a member of the Grand Rapids V.F.W. and D.A.V.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Viet Nam War.

     Survivors include his wife, Delores; a daughter, Christie (O.J.) Babcock; three grandchildren, Ande, Nolan, and Tarynn; and his dog, Marley.

     Graveside services will be held in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 12:30PM.
