Darnel "Parn" E Brandstrom

Darnel E. Brandstrom, “Parn” 56, lifelong resident of Balsam Twp., died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home. 

He was born January 25, 1969, in Grand Rapids, MN. Darnel was the son of Delbert and Pauline (Feldhaus) Brandstrom. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School and worked with his dad as a laborer in the family business, B & T Excavating. Darnel enjoyed outdoor activities, fishing, ATVing, and visiting with friends and family.

Survivors include his siblings; Darwin Brandstrom of Grand Rapids, MN, Darrell (Shelly) Brandstrom and Danette (Tom Kemp) Brandstrom both of Bigfork, MN, and many nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Denise Brandstrom and a brother; Duane Brandstrom.
     There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering of Family and Friends from 1-4 pm, Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Balsam Memorial Hall in Balsam, MN. A private family burial will be in the Balsam Cemetery.
