Daniel R. Mandich

          Daniel R. Mandich, 71, Coleraine, died Saturday, January 24, 2026, in his home.

          Born October 21, 1954, in Coleraine, he was the son of Robert and Beatrice (White) Mandich.      Daniel grew up in Coleraine, lived in California for several years, and returned to Coleraine in 2012.  He enjoyed playing pool, downhill skiing, and golfing.  He was a member of a local pool league, the Eagle Ridge Golf Club, and he enjoyed serving as Mayor of Coleraine in 2018.  Daniel and Maria R. Navarrete were married on April 26, 2001,  in Reno, NV.

          Daniel’s parents, Robert and Beatrice Mandich preceded him in death.

          Survivors include his wife, Maria; children, Reyna (Daniel Hartman) Navarrete, Alberto Quiroz – Navarrete, Maria Quiroz – Navarrete; ten grandchildren; siblings, Robert Mandich, Diane Moyer and Melanie (Richard) Quillin; and many nieces and nephews.

          There will be a gathering of family and friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.
