Daniel Makinen Obituary

Daniel Lee Makinen, 63 a lifelong resident of Balsam Township, MN died on Thursday, October 2, 2019 in his home.

He was born on June 25, 1956 in Grand Rapids, the son of Emil and Lorraine (Luoma) Makinen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Eric Makinen and a brother, Roger Makinen.

Survivors include his daughter, Darla (Josh) Clemens of Lawrence Lake, and their children; Kaylee, Kody and Katelynn Clemens, siblings; Emil Makinen, Sheila (Andy) Berry, and Tom (Dianne) Makinen.

Per Daniel’s request, there will be no services at this time. Interment will be in the Balsam Cemetery.
