Connie Gail Brown

          Connie G. Brown, 70, longtime Marble resident passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, in the Grand Village, Grand Rapids.

          Born April 6, 1952, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Ed and Georgia (Kropp) Brown.  Connie was a 1970 graduate of Greenway High School and had been a teacher in the Charlie Brown Pre-School in Taconite for many years.  She took great joy in teaching and in all the students that went through her program.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

          Her parents, Ed and Georgia Brown; a brother, Robert Brown; a nephew, Quinten Brown; and a special friend, Doug Jager preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her brother, David “Doc” Brown; a sister-in-law, Vicky Brown; nieces and nephews, Paul (Julie) Brown, Lorna (Mike) Johnson, and Stacey (Ruth) Brown; grand nieces and nephews, Ashley, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Sarah, Becca, Emily, Branden, Austen, Isaac, and Carter Brown, and Nick Bunes; great grandnephews, Ian, Bentley, Carston, and Liam; and a great grandniece, Delilha.

          Private family services will be held.
