Charles H Kick

Charles H. Kick, Jr. 76 of Marble, died on Friday, January 17, 2020 in his home.

          Born on July 24, 1943 in Grays Lake, IL, he was the son of Charles and Yvonne (McGuire) Kick. He married Phila “Pidie” Stevens on November 24, 1992. He was a truck driver for Potlach, he enjoyed gardening, working on and fixing computers, was a numbers guy and loved doing peoples taxes. He was a 30 years resident of Marble, where he was known to have the best yard in town.

          Survivors include his wife, Phila Kick of Marble, his children; Twyla (Brian) Montrose of Orlando, FL, Charles (Barb) Kick III and Steven (Amy) Kick both of Chicago, IL, Darren (Pam) Olson of Bovey, MN, Troy (Paula) Olson of Durand, WI, Rochelle (Mike) Stitt of Grand Rapids, MN and Kelli (Larry) Hamlin of Bovey, MN. 23 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren, siblings; Patrick Kick, John Kick, Dan (Barb) Kick, Jim Kick, Larry Kick, Ralph (Julie) Kick, Randy (Josie) Kick, David (Chris) Kick, Peter (Carey) Kick, Tony (Kari) Kick, Kathleen (Robert) Flary, Suzanne (Roger) Towery, Marcella (Ron) Roed and Yvonne Kick and many nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 children; Tami Bigness and Shawn Olson and siblings; Helen (Ray) Mueller, Steven, Jeffrey and Quin.

          Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Coleraine. Interment will be in the Ascension Cemetery in Grays Lake, IL
