Charles Francisco Obituary
Charles E. Francisco, 80, longtime Iron Range Township resident, died on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids.
Born December 25, 1937 in Grand Rapids, he was the son of John and Dorothy (Lord) Francisco. Charlie was a member of the Lawron Presbyterian Church, was an Iron Range Township resident most of his life and was a custodian for ISD 316 for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Army National Guard for 18 years.
His Parents, John and Dorothy Francisco and siblings, Darrell, Tim, and Kerry preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Nick (Candy) Francisco of rural Bovey, Michael (Pamela) Francisco of rural Effie, and Kathy Francisco of Coleraine; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings, Betsy, Sandy, John, Joann, Kim, Jennifer, Steve, Nick, and Brian; and his step-mother, Janette Francisco.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Lawron Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
