Obituary

          Carol J. Stockwell, 69 of Cohasset, died on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Essentia Health/St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.

          She was born on November 5, 1952, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Lincoln) Cockman. She married LeRoy Stockwell in 1973.

          Carol had worked for several years cleaning companies, and for the last 18 years, until her retirement, she worked as a uniform attendant at the White Oak Casino. She enjoyed her home, watching the wildlife in the back yard and watching her ghost shows. She also loved to go to the casino for buffet dinners.

          Survivors include her husband of 48 years, LeRoy Stockwell, her son; Jeff (Melinda) Stockwell and her daughter; Rachel Stockwell. Her grandchildren: Corey, Hannah, James, Jacob and many more kids who called her mom and grandma. Her siblings Bonnie (Ernie) Rautio, Paul (June) Cockman and Vicki Nelson.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother; Robert Cockman.

          There will be a gathering of family and friends from 12:00 to 2:00 on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Ball Club Community Center.
