Algy Finke Obituary
Algy K. Finke, 95, longtime Trout Lake area resident, died on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Evergreen Terrace, Grand Rapids.
Born June 2, 1922 in Wheaton, MN, she was the daughter of Richard and Ella (Marton) Larson. She grew up and attended schools in Wheaton, MN and was married to Traverse W. Finke on February 2, 1940 in Wheaton. Algy was a homemaker and an active member of the Bovey Moose Lodge.
Her parents; husband, Traverse; and three sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Nita (Duane) Rollins of Marble, Diane (Jack) Aimonetti of Mora, MN, Lee Finke of Taconite, Robert Finke of Sioux Falls, SD, Sandra (Jeff) Tabaka of Grand Rapids, Larry (Heather) Finke of Hill City, Deborah (Terry) Erven of Grand Rapids, Karen (Herm) Newton of Aitkin, Darus (Karen) Finke of Marble, Mark (Kris) Finke of Anoka, and Wade Finke of Marble; 29 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Keller of Virginia, MN.
There will be a visitation and gathering of family and friends at 11:00 am, Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Greenway Township Hall, Marble. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
