Richard "Dick" G. Engelstad

Richard G. “Dick” Engelstad, 68 of Taconite, MN died on Friday, December 15, 2017 in the North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, MN.
He was born on July 26, 1949 in Warren, MN, he was the son of Curtis and Evelyn (Strom) Engelstad. He grew up in Warren, MN, also living in Minneapolis and then Taconite. Dick was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War, had worked for Orion Corporation and Montavon Motors. He married Patti Kyllander on June 22, 1996 in Bovey, MN.
Survivors include his wife Patti of Taconite, MN, a daughter; Jennifer (Todd) Boulden of New Prague, MN, step-children; Adria (Michael) Cardenas of Brooklyn Park, MN and Cory (Melanie) Troumbly of Bigfork, MN. His mother, Evelyn Perry of Warren, MN. 5 Grandchildren; Gabe and Miranda Flanders, Noah Boulden and Aksel and Graysen Troumbly. 2 Siblings; Yvonne (Bill) Bossman of Warren, MN and Patricia (Rick) Gould of Grand Rapids, MN, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Curtis Engelstad and a nephew, Chris Bossman.
