Rachel Lynn Flaig, 36 of Coleraine, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
She was born on August 6, 1982 in Grand Rapids, MN, she was the daughter of Paul “Osc” and Louella “Punky” (Hamlin) Anderson. She was a lifelong Lawrence Lake resident, living in Coleraine the past 3 years. She attended the Greenway Schools, where she was active in Key Club and Choir. She loved drinking coffee and spending her time with friends and family. She loved late nights, drinking wine with her close friends. She was a loving wife who cherished everyday with her husband Robert. She enjoyed many things in life, but none more than her three sons. She would sit and cuddle with them as long as she could and raised them as little men.
Survivors include her husband; Robert Flaig of Coleraine, her sons; Dylan Flaig (15), Bryce Flaig (4) and Ryder Flaig (2), all of Coleraine. Her parents; Paul and Louella Anderson of Lawrence Lake, brother; Josh Anderson of Lawrence Lake, sister; Samantha Anderson of Coleraine, her in-laws; David and Karen Flaig of Willmar, MN, Grandparents; Earl Wohlsdorf of Grand Rapids, Vernon (Marjorie) Flaig and Laila Nelson, all of Willmar, MN. Sister-in-law; Wendy (Eric) Miller of Willmar, MN, brother-in-law; Lance (Sherry) Flaig of Simpsonville, SC, Nephew; Braden Miller of Willmar, MN, 2 Nieces; Cadence and Sasha Flaig of Simpsonville, SC, special friends, Erin, Susan, and Stephanie, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents; Carl and Delores Anderson, Maternal grandmother; Juleen Wohlsdorf, Great-grandma; Irma Juvrud, Uncle; Richard Flaig, Cousin; Steve Flaig, and Grandfather-in-law; Gerald Peterson, and her dear friend Sarah.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the 1:00 Funeral Service on Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Lawron Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine. Arrangements by the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.
