Janet Marie Gillman

          Janet M. Gillman, 60, former Trout Lake area resident, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 in her home at Pleasant Seasons.

          Born December 9, 1957 in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Donald and Dolores (Ball) Gillman.  Janet was a 1976 graduate of Greenway High School, a graduate of the Itasca Community College medical secretary program, and had worked in the Grand Rapids Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital.  She was a Trout Lake area resident most of her life.

          Her parents and grandparents preceded her in death.

          Survivors include her siblings, Sandra (Bruce Braun) Durovec and Karen (Bruce) Ogle, both of Grand Rapids, and Donald (Paula) Gillman of Trout Lake; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; and her special friend, Nick Casper.

          Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
