Jane C. (Saw) Luoma

                    Jane C. Luoma age 73 of Coleraine passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 peacefully in her home with family by her side.

She was born October 29, 1945 in Grand Rapids, MN to  Wilfred and Pearl (Wilvert) Saw. Jane grew up in Taconite and attended Greenway High School graduating in 1963. On July 11th 1964 she married her husband of 55 years Larry Luoma at St. Marys’ Catholic Church in Marble, MN. Jane had a 23 year career as a teachers aid for the Greenway School District. She was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Coleraine and  Jane was a member of the CCW where she helped volunteer at the church.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Pearl and brother, Jerry (Nancy) Saw of Gilbert, MN.

 She is survived by her husband, Larry Luoma of Coleraine, MN, sons, Rick (Jamie) Luoma of Grand Rapids, MN, Todd (Tricia) Luoma of St. Louis Park, MN, sister, Karen Saw of Big Lake, MN, sister-in-law Joyce Trobec of Coleraine, MN, grandchildren, Jace, Brooke, Torrin, Avery, Riayn, and her grand dog, Squeaks.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Coleraine. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am services. A rosary will be said at 9:30 am before the visitation at church. Interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to a place near to Janes heart the Richard M. Schulze Family Hope Lodge, 2500 University Ave. SE. Minneapolis, MN 55414.
