Margaret A. (Brennan) Roberts

Margaret A. Roberts, 93 of Pengilly, MN died on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the Fairview Mesabi Hospital in Hibbing.

Born on December 8, 1930, in Bemidji, MN she was the daughter of Frank and Clara (Christianson) Brennan. She married Don Roberts October 1947, moved to Pengilly in 1951. Raised her children in Pengilly and owned and operated Mr. Roberts Resort for over 50 years. She belonged to East Side Neighbors, St. Kevin’s and St. Cecelia’s Catholic Churches. She loved her family gatherings, and also taking care of all the customers that became friends. She had also worked at Evergreen, Judy’s and McClaren’s.

Survivors include her children; Pam (Ken Kalmi) Roberts, Patty Goss, David Roberts and Dan (Dee) Roberts and 8 grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Clara and stepfather, Jim, her husband, Don Roberts, daughter; Peggy Desizlets, sons; Don, Dennis, Dwaine, and Doug.

     Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk. There will be a fellowship and luncheon at MJ’s Resort in Pengilly following the service. Interment will be at the Nashwauk Cemetery at a later date.
